I am linking up with The Resource Room Teacher today! I have something incredibly exciting to share!
Several blog posts ago, I mentioned a few of the projects from Pinterest that I would love to accomplish. One of those was from Boy Mama Teacher Mama and it was her Sight Word Practice Box. Pictured below:
I must say that I am quite excited about this! I hope you are, too! Here is a link to her TPT store where you can download her templates for the Sight Word Practice box along including several games! Ready....GO!!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe, with how much time I spend on Pinterest, that I have never come across this! Thank goodness for Special Needs Sunday link ups!
I love this idea! We have increased our focus on SIght Words in my classroom this year, but I have been struggling to come up with supplementary games and activities. This Sight Words Practice Box is perfect! Because of the needs of my students, I would probably only put one game in at a time to avoid over stimulation, but I could rotate a new game or activity every day. Hmmm....this could be fun! I can't wait to try it out and see how my students respond! Thanks for sharing!
I know! It is great! The kids love having their own personal box. They think it is so fun. If you would like some ideas for sight word games check out this link:http://mrshsresourceroom.blogspot.com/2013/02/personal-word-walls-more-dominoes.html

I got my boxes from someone at school, but I think the lady that I got this idea from uses pizza boxes. Maybe you can try to get a pizza place to donate a few!
